For all you folk who enjoyed entering the world of Jack the Ripper by seeing From Hell this past weekend, I enthusiastically suggest that you visit THE online source for everything that is the Ripper murders: Casebook.org. There’s tons of suspects, many more viable than who was suggested in the movie. Even more possible victims too….

I’ve been fascinated with the Jack the Ripper mystery for many years and fancy myself a budding Ripperologist. I guess that’s why I’m still debating what to rate the movie. Knowing the details of the murders, who got murdered, and the details behind the many suspects doesn’t leave much to the imagination when a movie actual comes out. Nevertheles, the general look and feel of the film is fabulous! Dark, murky and evil 19th century London…tho I doubt any of the prossies looked even a tenth as good as Heather Graham. ;) Still prefer Michael Caine over Johnny Depp as Abberline…

Now here’s a public cause I can get behind! A Cleveland city councilman has introduced legislation that would fine people who wear super low-hanging baggy pants. $25 fine for a first offense and $50 for a second…and I am happy to say it’s about time! It’s not only ugly and disgraceful, it’s immensely unpatriotic! And in these perilous times we need to stand behind our president and our country by pulling our pants up! Unless your boxers are red, white and blue of course….

I’m actually not kidding about that legislation. Read up about it. What nonsense. Vote this moron out of office just for the waste of Cleveland tax payer dollars.

Yes, I’m addicted to Mountain Dew Code Red. Just what I needed…another caffeine intensive liquid candy to fill up my system. ^^ One particular infusion was at a recent Taco bell drive thru. This particular Taco Bell has one of those displays that actually shows you what you ordered. When I ordered a Code Red, this is what appeared:32oz Mountain Dew w/ Red SauceI laughed when I saw it, but I haven’t been able to get out of my mind the thought of a Taco Bell worker dumping marinara sauce in a cup of mountain dew…ecchhhk. ^^

What hell is wrong the people who run convenience stores? There’s something about every one of these stores that bugs the living hell out of me. You purchase your goods and as you’re walking out you notice the height ruler next to the door. In my entire life, I’ve never seen one of those rulers that was accurate. I’m 6′3″. I always have to look up to see where 6 feet is on their ruler. WTF? Little tip for those robbing these particular stores…they’ll never get your correct height from the camera footage. ;)

• Kudos to the people of The West Wing for a brilliantly acted and written ‘terror’ episode. In a time when other shows and entertainment venues are shying away from the actual tough issues, the West Wing actually had the kintama to bring them to the forefront. Well done!
• JPop superstar (and my pick as the first Japanese singer to make it big in the US) Utada Hikaru is on the cover of this week’s Time Magazine Special Edition called ‘Music Goes Global’. She also has a great 2 page spread! Now if MTV would only show her Unplugged here in the states…
